Raoni L. Arraes is a PhD candidate in Anthropology at the University of Coimbra (UC). Has Master’s degree in Communication Sciences at Federal University of Pará (UFPA), also did his Undegrad in Social Sciences in the same university, locate in the North Region of Brazil. His current PhD project is about how the Forest constructs and weaves relationships between the most diverse manifestations of a culture and identity in the city of Belém. His project is also focused on the perspective of photographers in the city of Belém, and how the relationship between technology and art presents itself as an important relationship for understanding identities in post-colonial contexts.
