Brendan GALIPEAU is an anthropologist with research interests in environment, economy, and society with a geographic focus on Southwest China. His dissertation and forthcoming book manuscript investigate economic and agricultural representations of ethnicity related to wine production and global capitalist agriculture among Tibetans. His current project explores technical knowledge production and global aquaculture among small-scale salmon and trout farmers.  He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Institute of Anthropology at National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan.
